It was a dark and stormy night and I was with my best friend Madison.
Our parents had gone out for a romantic getaway. Madison’s parents stayed in the hotel room next to my parents so it was easy to contact them. Our little siblings had gone out to a babysitters house and they spent the night there. We had done everything we could do to keep our minds off of the stormy night. So we went on the computer to play some childish games to calm us down……but this didn’t work. In fact it made matters worse. We were playing a Scooby- doo mystery haunted house game, and zombies and ugly dead things were there and…..scary music. Finally we were almost done with the game when it popped up. It was a bloody ghost!!!!!!!!!!! We screamed and at that very moment the power went out. We ran grabbed as many blankets and pillows as we could and we locked the back door. We hid in a corner and waited for the power to come back on. When it did the TV, computer, and the phone came on at once. So Madison and I sat in the corner for about 5 minutes and listened to the thunder and watched the lightning strike like a flashing paparazzi camera never stopping. But as we waited the storm died off and soon it was quiet…… to quiet. Then my older brother, who we forgot was coming back to the house, called and said he would have an hour and a half delay because the storm had knocked down a tree right into the middle of the highway and there was a car pile up. So we waited and watched the little mermaid to calm us down. Wishing it wouldn’t end up scaring us like the Scooby- doo game did. Then out of no where somebody started banging on the back door and it was my brother trying to scare us and he told us that there wasn’t really a car pile up and he lied so he could scare us so after awhile we settled down and went to sleep…….dreaming of what might have happened if that wasn’t a family member…………..BOO!!!!!

I love fall. I love everything about it. The different colors. The smells ,everything. One main activity I do in the fall is raking leaves. I usually do this with my brothers. Once all the leaves fall and are all over are front and back yard and my parents are constantly telling us to rake the leaves we go out get our rakes and begin our long journey of working. Once all the leaves are raked into one big gigantic pile we begin our second journey. What’s that you ask? Well it’s the journey of fun. Me and my brothers are pretty creative, so we think of millions and endless possibilities of games to play. All of course involving that wondrous pile of leaves. We’ll pretend were in a pyramid running and running away from something horribly scary and mean and we’ll all fall into this bottomless pit and the leaves of course is that bottomless pit. But lets get back to reality, nothing will be chasing us and we wont fall into this bottomless pit we’ll simply jump. Jump into the leaves that gigantic enormous pile of leaves. We’ll get lost in that pile. We will be lost and cold in that pile. While were totally destroying our pile we’ll soon realize that our pile isn’t a pile any more it’s simply…… gone. It will disappear like magic. But in reality in true real pure reality we’ll rake the leaves, have our fun, destroy our gigantic pile of fun, and clean it all back up and bag it and throw it away. But after the long day is done I’ll go in warm myself up think of more adventures to have next time my favorite season comes around. Leave season. Or some people, some crazy odd and totally insane people call my favorite season……..FALL.
